Every Relish evening has a dedicated Relish host present throughout — from the moment the first guest arrives to the close of the evening. Our hosts are not timekeepers with bells. They are not there to announce rounds over a microphone or manage a clipboard at the door.
They are there to ensure the evening feels natural. To settle guests in before things begin. To manage the flow of the evening with a light touch that most guests barely notice. To make sure every person in the room feels comfortable, looked after, and entirely at ease.
Our host arrives early. The venue is checked. The layout is right. Guests are welcomed from the moment they walk in — not left to stand around wondering what happens next. A drink, a moment to settle, and a quiet word from the host before things get going.
The host manages the structure of the evening — conversation rotations, intermission, the close — while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and entirely natural. The best Relish evenings are the ones where guests forget the evening is structured at all. That takes skill. Our hosts have it.
Our hosts are empowered to address any conduct concern immediately and without hesitation. The standard of the room is non-negotiable. Anyone who does not meet it is asked to leave. The safety and comfort of every guest in the room is the host's first responsibility.
At the end of the evening, the host ensures every guest understands how the Relish Select works and what happens next. No confusion, no uncertainty. Guests leave knowing exactly what to do — and feeling like the evening was worth every moment of it.

We look for venues with good lighting, easy conversation, and the kind of atmosphere you'd choose for a first date anyway. Somewhere that feels like a great night out — because that is exactly what the evening should be.
We don't book function rooms, community halls, or generic event spaces. Every Relish venue is chosen specifically — city by city, event by event — for its atmosphere, its crowd, and its standard.
If a venue no longer meets the Relish standard, we move. The room matters too much to settle.

The Relish Select is our proprietary private digital selection tool — the part of the evening that happens after the evening itself. Guests log in from any device, privately indicate who they'd like to see again, and submit by midnight.
Nobody knows who you've chosen until a mutual match is confirmed. No public reveals. No paper scorecards passed around the room. No awkward moments the morning after.
When two people choose each other, it's a match. You'll each receive a first name and an email address. The rest is entirely up to you — and that's where the real fun begins.
