Conduct & Safety
The room reflects
the standard we set.

Relish events attract driven, respectful professionals. That is not an accident — it is the result of twelve years of cultivating a community where the standard is understood and expected. We take that standard seriously, and we protect it actively.

Every guest deserves to spend an evening in a room where they feel safe, respected, and entirely at ease. That is not a nice-to-have. It is the foundation of everything we do.

Relish has a zero tolerance policy for harassment, intimidation, bullying, unwanted contact, discriminatory conduct, physical aggression, stalking, and disruptive behaviour. This applies at all events, during introductions, and through all communications relating to Relish services — including email, text, telephone, and social media.

What we expect from every guest.

Attending a Relish evening is a privilege, not a right. Every guest is expected to contribute positively to the experience of others — treating fellow attendees, hosts, venue staff, and Relish personnel with courtesy, respect, and professionalism at all times.

Specifically, all participants agree to:

The Relish standard.
Expected of every guest, at every event, without exception.
Respect personal boundaries
Physical and emotional boundaries of all guests, hosts, and staff must be respected at all times.
Use respectful language
Verbal conduct must be courteous and professional. Offensive, threatening, or discriminatory language is not tolerated.
Accept decisions gracefully
If another participant does not wish to continue communication, that decision must be respected immediately and without question.
Follow host instructions
Relish hosts are there to ensure the evening runs smoothly. Their instructions must be followed at all times.
Contribute to the atmosphere
The quality of the evening depends on everyone in the room. Guests are expected to show up with openness, warmth, and good faith.
Be honest and accurate
All information provided to Relish — including age, relationship status, and intentions — must be accurate and truthful.
Zero tolerance behaviour.

The following conduct is strictly prohibited — at events, during introductions, and through any communication relating to Relish services:

Prohibited conduct.
Any of the following will result in immediate removal and may result in a permanent ban.
Harassment
Of any kind — verbal, physical, or digital — directed at guests, hosts, staff, or venue partners.
Intimidation & threats
Any conduct causing another person to feel unsafe, threatened, or uncomfortable.
Unwanted contact
Continued contact after a participant has indicated they do not wish to communicate further.
Discriminatory conduct
Any conduct based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or any protected characteristic.
Physical aggression
Unwanted physical contact or any form of physical aggression toward any person.
Stalking behaviour
Following, monitoring, or persistently contacting another participant without consent.
Disruptive behaviour
Any conduct that disrupts the experience of other guests or the operation of the evening.
Retaliation
Any retaliatory conduct against guests, hosts, staff, or venue partners who report concerns.

This zero tolerance policy extends beyond the event itself — it applies through email, text, telephone, social media, and any other channel of communication relating to Relish services or connecting with someone met at a Relish event.

Host & staff safety.

The safety of our hosts, staff, venue partners, contractors, and participants is paramount. Relish reserves the right to remove, suspend, or permanently ban any participant whose conduct causes another person to feel unsafe, threatened, harassed, or uncomfortable — regardless of where or how that conduct occurs.

Any participant whose conduct causes a host, staff member, contractor, or venue partner to decline future involvement with that participant may be permanently removed from all Relish services without refund or compensation.

Consequences.

Relish may take any action it deems appropriate in response to a conduct violation, including:

A formal warning issued directly to the participant.

Removal from the event without refund.

Cancellation of any scheduled introductions.

Suspension from future Relish events and services.

Permanent ban from the Relish community.

Referral to law enforcement where conduct may constitute a criminal offence.

Relish reserves the right to determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether a violation has occurred. No refunds, credits, or compensation will be issued to participants removed due to conduct violations.

How to report a concern.

If you experience or witness behaviour that concerns you — at an event, during an introduction, or through any subsequent communication — please contact us immediately.

At the event: speak directly to your Relish host. They are there to help and will act immediately.

After the event: email us at info@dorelish.com. All reports are taken seriously, handled with complete discretion, and responded to promptly.

You will never be made to feel that raising a concern is unwelcome. We are grateful when guests help us maintain the standard of our room.

Common questions.
Is Relish safe? +
Yes. All Relish events are hosted at carefully chosen venues with attentive staff present throughout the evening. Every attendee is a registered participant who has booked through Eventbrite. Our zero tolerance conduct policy and active host presence at every event ensure a safe and respectful environment.
Does Relish conduct background checks? +
Relish does not conduct formal background checks. However, every attendee is a registered participant who has booked through Eventbrite — they are not strangers from the street. Our zero tolerance conduct policy, active host presence, and the natural social accountability of a structured group environment all contribute to a safe and considered room.
What if someone contacts me after the event in a way that makes me uncomfortable? +
Contact us immediately at info@dorelish.com. Our zero tolerance policy extends beyond the event itself — it covers all communications relating to Relish services or connecting with someone met at a Relish event. We will take the matter seriously and act accordingly.
Can I be removed from a Relish event? +
Yes. Any participant whose conduct does not meet the Relish standard may be asked to leave immediately. Relish reserves the right to remove, suspend, or permanently ban any participant at its sole discretion. No refunds or compensation are issued in cases of conduct-related removal.
What type of people attend Relish events? +
Entrepreneurs, executives, and driven professionals who value intention over noise and connection over convenience. The kind of room where ambition is understood and education is worn lightly. We are defined in part by our venues and our crowd reflects that. The standard we set attracts the standard we expect.
A concern? We want to hear it.

The standard of our room depends on every person in it — including you. If something doesn't feel right, tell us. One email. We take care of it.
