Every person at a Relish evening is a registered attendee who has booked and paid through Eventbrite in advance. Walk-ins are not accepted. Door payments are not accepted. This means every person in the room has deliberately chosen to be there — not wandered in off the street.

We run events across stated age ranges — typically spanning ten to twelve years — to ensure the room feels well matched. Age ranges are guidelines, not strict rules, but we manage them carefully to maintain balance.

The crowd at a Relish evening tends to be driven, accomplished, and interesting. That is not an accident. It is the result of twelve years of cultivating a community where the standard is understood and expected.

Every Relish evening is hosted by a Relish host — a real person, present throughout the evening, whose job is to ensure the experience feels effortless. Our hosts are not timekeepers with bells. They settle guests in before things begin, manage the flow of the evening with a light touch, and make sure every person in the room feels comfortable and looked after.

The Relish Select is our proprietary private digital selection tool. After each evening, guests log in from any device and privately indicate who they'd like to see again. Selections are completely private — nobody knows who you've chosen until a mutual match is confirmed.

The Relish Select replaces the paper scorecards and public reveals that characterise traditional speed dating. It protects your privacy, removes awkward moments, and ensures that the matching process feels as considered and dignified as the evening itself.

Anonymised interest signals gathered through the Relish Select may be used to inform future event programming and introduction opportunities across the Relish ecosystem. No personally identifiable selection data is ever shared with other participants or third parties.

Introductions are drawn from two sources: fellow package holders who have invested in the process, and those who have stood out at our structured evenings — individuals who connect naturally, get matches, and leave an impression on the room.

Each introduction is selected based on mutual goals, aspirations, and compatibility — not proximity or convenience. We confirm mutual interest before arranging anything. You receive a first name, a brief description, and the venue details ahead of time — nothing more.

All event ticket payments are processed through Eventbrite. All introduction package payments are processed through Eventbrite's secure payment partners. Relish does not store or have access to your payment card details.

There are no hidden fees, no membership requirements to attend events, and no upselling during the evening itself. The price you see is the price you pay.

If something goes wrong — an event is rescheduled, your plans change, or anything else — one email to info@dorelish.com handles everything. Tickets never expire. No penalties, no pressure, no being sent in circles. If an event is rescheduled and you'd rather not attend, a full refund is available. We take care of it.
